Israel is not actually involved in the Syrian conflict. This article is pointless. Darkness Shines (talk) 12:41, 14 July 2017 (UTC)
- Can you expand? The article does have substantial and well-referenced content. --George (Talk · Contribs · CentralAuth · Log) 12:47, 14 July 2017 (UTC)
- Comment - the article Israeli involvement in the Syrian Civil War was originally named Israeli intervention in the Syrian Civil War to emphasize incidents related to the Iran-Israel proxy conflict (see [1]). It later was renamed to its current name and aggregated three issues - the Humanitarian aid during the Syrian Civil War supplied by Israel, the minor Israeli–Syrian ceasefire line incidents during the Syrian Civil War and alleged cross-border attacks by Hezbollah against Israel and Israel against Hezbollah during the Syrian Civil War in the context of Iran-Israel proxy conflict (mostly unverified). The three issues are somewhat interrelated and having to do with the Syrian Civil War, but do not make up actual and notable "organized involvement" as was concluded several times at talk:Syrian Civil War/Israel, thus i removed copy-paste parts from Humanitarian aid during the Syrian Civil War and Israeli–Syrian ceasefire line incidents during the Syrian Civil War. The topic is currently also discussed at talk:Syrian Civil War#RfC. I would wait for RfC conclusion to nominate this article for deletion, even though i would tend to support it - it doesn't make any point not already mentioned in Iran-Israel proxy conflict article.GreyShark (dibra) 12:56, 14 July 2017 (UTC)

- Keep. While the article may have drawbacks, it definitely should stay, as the involvement is obvious, if only political.Axxxion (talk) 15:35, 17 July 2017 (UTC)
- Keep. Isn't Israel only excluded from the SCW infobox for its involvement being "part of the separate conflict with Hezbollah" and otherwise non-lethal? This article is certainly necessary to detail Israel's non-lethal and anti-Hezbollah involvement. Nuke (talk) 23:42, 19 July 2017 (UTC)
- But there already is an article called Iran-Israel proxy conflict and Hezbollah involvement in the Syrian Civil War regarding Israel-Hezbollah incidents and there is Humanitarian aid during the Syrian Civil War with aspects of Israeli non-lethal assistance to Syrians. Why do we require a 4th article, which is ambiguous (Israel is not actively involved)?GreyShark (dibra) 13:24, 25 July 2017 (UTC)

- Keep According to the Guardian: the Israeli military break its customary silence over raids in Syria to release a statement to admit that its aircraft had been targeted while operating there on March 17. [2] Israel is involved inside Syrian territory. --Pudeo (talk) 13:23, 29 July 2017 (UTC)
